Whidbey Kitchen is a shared commercial incubator kitchen located on South Whidbey Island, WA. The Kitchen is a project of Goosefoot, a non-profit economic development organization.
Sited at the Langley Primary School, this fully equipped facility is available to food processors, bakers, farmers, caterers, and others needing a fully-licensed commercial kitchen.
Introductory Workshops
Everyone interested in using the kitchen will want to attend one of our introductory workshops! We will review the facility, the equipment available, and the licensing and permitting you may require for your food product/s. February 27, March 8 and March 12.
What is an incubator kitchen?
Whidbey Kitchen provides an opportunity for a food business to grow and become established. It is a shared commercial kitchen space with professional equipment, storage, affordable rental rates, and additional businesses development services.
An incubator kitchen allows you to launch your business with less risk and lower start up costs.
As an incubator, we also offer classes and technical assistance from food business experts for new food entrepreneurs. Whidbey Kitchen provides “how-to” workshops covering food licensing requirements, product development and marketing, pricing, and more.
